About the project
The aim was to create a vintage looking design that suits the look & feel of a second hand bookstore.
Early on, the phrase ‘give books a second life’ crossed the mind, since the books themselves are second hand.
To visually represent it, inspiration came from the recycling symbol that represents curricular use of objects. Creating a unique symbol - the books & arrows travelling around a circle, symbolising that they are given a second life.
